Thanks to a tip from a reader "Abhinav" here I've learned that Mail for Exchange has been updated to version 2.7.
Rafe from AllAboutSymbian.com has reported a few updates that come with the new version.
Rafe says,
Updates include support for Exchange Server 2007 Autodiscover (enter your email address and server settings are automatically provisioned), updated mapping of data fields in Contacts and a number of bug fixes. As was recently announced the new version can also now be installed on any Nokia S60 3rd Edition phone.
The Exchange Server 2007 Autodiscover functionality must be enabled and configured by your system administrator. If you are upgrading from an earlier version of Mail for Exchange you will need to perform a full resync in order to take advantage of the new Contact field mapping (middle name, car phone, department, spouse and anniversary).
